Alice Faye (Martin) Jennings, 82, a lifelong resident of Crittenden County, passed away on Thursday July 14, 2022 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, Alabama after a short illness. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church where she served on the kitchen and bereavement teams. She retired from Potter & Brumfield/Siemens and was a 1958 graduate of Crittenden County High School.
Survivors include her daughter, Pam (Mike) Futrell of Huntsville, AL; granddaughters, Brande (Drew) Jennings of Poplar Bluff, MO, Courtney (Zack) Newsome of Sylacauga, AL and Kelly Futrell of Huntsville, AL; great grandchildren, Brynn Jennings, Sophie Jennings and Ryker Haynes all of Poplar Bluff, MO and Nate Newsome and Zayne Newsome both of Sylacauga, AL; brother, Bobby (Patricia) Martin of Tompkinsville, KY; sister-in-law, Shirley Jennings of Flandreau, SD; brother-in-law, Don White of Owensville, IN and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallis "Bill" Jennings; son, M. Dwayne Jennings; parents, Ivory Carmon and Mary Jewel (Ross) Martin and siblings, Doug Martin, Lavelle Watson, Elizabeth Tandy, Emma Lou Smith and Betty Jo White.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday July 20, 2022 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Rosebud Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Tuesday July 19, 2022 at the funeral home.
