Willard Mott, 91, died Thursday at Crittenden County Health and Rehab. He was a member, deacon and served in many other capacaties of Mexico Baptist Church, Army Veteran of WWII and owner/operator of Mott Lumber Company, member of Gideons International, Frances, Ky Masonic Lodge #580 and instrumental in the formation of Crittenden-Livingston Water District.
Surviving are 2 sons, Ronnie (Wanda) Mott of Kuttawa, KY and Dennis (Charlotte) Mott of Marion, KY; daughter, LaDonne (James) Penn of Marion, KY; grandchildren, Chad (Stephanie) Mott, Aimee (Troy) Lynn, Regan (Eric) Lookadoo, Adria (Jody) Porter, Mandy (Michael) Hunt and Brian (Jessica) Penn; great grandchildren, Gabe Mott, Hannah Mott, Lynzee Lynn, Laycee Lynn, Seth Lynn, Camryn Lookadoo, Logan Lookadoo, Brady Lookadoo, Carly Porter, Jack Porter, Gavin Hunt, Macie Hunt, Haylie Hunt, Caden Penn and Mela Kate Penn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Una Florence Shadowen Mott; parents, Elmer and Oata Hoover Mott and brother, Glenn Mott.
Services are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday at Mexico Baptist Church with interment in Mexico Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY and from 10 AM until service time Saturday at the church.
